Welcome to Pecan Grove Farm! We are breeders and exhibitors of top quality AMHA/AMHR miniature horses. In 1996, after a 25+ year career as a professional dog handling team, we decided to retire, and became American Kennel Club judges. We were looking for another interest outside of dogs, and friends introduced us to miniatures horses. What could be better than life in the country with horses?
Pecan Grove Farm is 26 acres located in the rolling hills outside Brenham, Texas, with huge oaks, pecan trees (of course), and bluebonnets.
We have been delighted with the success of our horses in the show ring, and were particularly blessed to produce 3X WORLD CHAMPION, PECAN GROVE CHARGERS CUSTOMIZED aka CUTTY. He excelled as a show horse, and now that he is retired, his ability as a producer is becoming recognized around the world. Cutty is the sire of many multiple World champions and National Champions to date, with more to come.
In November of 2014, Pecan Grove Farm merged with Everwood Farm, owned by Jere Olson, longtime friend and owner of many Pecan Grove Farm horses. The three of us will go forward as a partnership, under the Pecan Grove name. Our secondary location is now in Richmond, Texas.
We have a small band of top quality broodmares, most of which have been show horses, and have outstanding pedigress which include top bloodlines and top producers in the miniature horses industry. We value these mares for their ability to carry us into the future with miniatures horses that are sound, beautiful and of International appeal.
We can assist you with a horse that fits your needs, whether it be for show, for breeding, or just a loving family pet. Our horses are both AMHA and AMHR registered, unless otherwise indicated. Bred mares are sold with a LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE, within the Continental United States.
Our horses are shown by appointment only. Should you have questions about the horses on our website, or just want to talk horses, feel free to email us at email@example.com or give us a call at 281-468-6484.
Thank you for your interest in our farm and our horses. We look forward to meeting you.
